The Birth of Gikmobil
In 2025, our founder Alex Dike experienced something that changed everything. His car's engine failed catastrophically, resulting in an $300 emergency repair. The worst part? It could have been prevented.
Standing in the mechanic's shop, Alex realized something: we had AI for everything from weather prediction to facial recognition, but nothing could predict mechanical failures in cars. If AI could learn an engine's behavior, it could warn drivers weeks before something breaks.
That frustration became motivation. Alex teamed up with Priya Sharma, an ML researcher from MIIT. Together, they built Gikmobil.
